KEANEKARAGAMAN ECHINODERMATA DI GILI MENO, NUSA TENGGARA BARAT

Echinodermata is an important group of animals in coastal and marine ecology. In Lombok Island itself, the study is still limited to studying the structure of certain populations and communities in certain relatively narrow areas. In this research, Echinoderms was taken in April 2018 with 10x10 m2 quadrant transect method. The study found 13 species of Echinodermata that is 1 species of Class Asteroidea (sea star), 4 species of class Echinoidea (sea urchins), 4 species of class Holothuroidea (sea cucumber) and 4 species of Ophiouoroidea (infectious star). From the data of research result indicate that at location of coordinate point "T1: S80, 20.565" E1160, 03.309 "which substrate consist of sand and coral fragments. Diversity of type echinodermata in research place (Gili Meno) is low. The highest density of Echinoderms in Gili Meno in this study was Diadema setosum of 890.6 individuals / Ha. Uniformity index (E) obtained in this research is 0.246 and the dominance index (D) obtained is 0.234.
