Abstract

In principle, clean and healthy living behavior must be instilled from an early age, at least from middle school age or even elementary school. Because basically the health experienced by school-age children is very complex and varied, but according to many children who are sick today because of a lack of knowledge about personal hygiene. Socialization regarding the implementation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) to students is a response to problems that occur which is carried out in order to increase students' awareness and knowledge so they can practice Clean and Healthy Living Behavior. This outreach was carried out to students of SMPN Satap 1 Kayangan, North Lombok Regency. The implementation method uses a qualitative method to identify the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle of school children at the SMPN level. The activity was carried out in two stages, namely planning and implementation through lectures, questions and answers, and hand washing demonstrations. The PHBS socialization activities went smoothly and well, all students enthusiastically took part in the socialization activities regarding PHBS. Based on the explanation of PHBS socialization activities for students at SMPN Satap 1 Kayangan above, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' understanding and knowledge after receiving socialization on the cultivation of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). From these results, it is hoped that students will become more concerned about personal and environmental hygiene, especially in the school environment, by always washing their hands, consuming healthy snacks in the school canteen, using clean and healthy toilets, exercising, maintaining body hygiene, namely nails, hair and teeth, and throwing away waste in its place, and be able to be more sensitive and responsive if there are symptoms of health problems due to PHBS in the surrounding area
