KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS SPESIES HERPETOFAUNA DI HUTAN SURANADI KAWASAN TAMAN WISATA ALAM SURANADI KECAMATAN NARMADA KABUPATEN LOMBOK BARAT NUSA TENGGARA BARAT

Abstract

Diversity of flora in the forest of the Natural Park (TWA) Suranadi as a home for fauna. The forest canopy dense enough to make the ground damp and overgrown with diverse understorey(seedling and saplings) that make a good habitat for the growth and development of the wildlife in the forest of the natural park suranadi. This study aimed to determine diversity of species in the forest of the Natural Park (TWA) Suranadi. This type of research using VES (Visual Encounter Survei) method. Observations carried out night (9:00 to 11:00 pm). Observations were made with go along the edge and record the types of animals found. Research observe, catch or take a picture of the fauna such as reptiles and amphibians. The result showed that 13 species of 9 families were found. Result of diversity index (H’) are in low category. Kongkang Gading (Hylarana eritraea) has total relative abundance index which was the highest amongst the species found.
