INTEGRASI PELATIHAN JAMUR TIRAM, PRODUKSI TEMPE, PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH DAN WEBSITE DESA SEBAGAI UPAYA PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT DI DESA SETILING KECAMATAN BATUKLIANG KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH

Abstract

Setiling Village is one of the villages located in North Batukliang District, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB), Indonesia. The village consists of 17 hamlets and covers an area of approximately 10.65 km². Setiling Village is known as the “Fruit Village” due to its abundance of fruit commodities such as durian, avocado, mangosteen, and bananas. The majority of residents earn their livelihoods as farmers, farm laborers, plantation workers, and livestock breeders. The village is equipped with several facilities and economic resources, including a village market, tourism attractions such as Batu Rejeng, village-owned enterprises (BUMDes), sports facilities, and numerous micro-scale enterprises (UMKM).
Several issues identified within the community include a high dependence on coffee and fruit commodities, limited diversification of agricultural businesses, inadequate waste management systems, underutilization of komak beans (Lablab purpureus) as a food resource, limited access to information, and the absence of an official village website. The community service program employed educational and practical approaches through training, counseling, and hands-on activities. The implementation of the program was carried out successfully through various activities, including oyster mushroom cultivation training, the provision of waste bins, the production of komak bean tempeh, and the development of a village website. These activities are expected to contribute to improving community knowledge, environmental management, local food diversification, and access to information in Setiling Village.
