KAJIAN PERAN UNITED NATIONS DECLARATIONS ON THE RIGHTS OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLE (UNDRIP) DALAM PEMENUHAN HAK ASASI MANUSIA MASYARAKAT SUKU ANAK DALAM JAMBI

Abstract

Human rights are absolute rights given by God and not a gift from humans, these rights are not prevented by ethnicity, nation, race, religion, gender or community groups. One of the groups of people who are still often deprived of their rights is the indigenous group of Suku Anak Dalam (SAD). The problems of discrimination and unequal rights fulfillment felt by indigenous peoples certainly make them part of the minority wherever they are, land rights that are taken away, the inability to fulfill development rights such as proper infrastructure development to the problem of difficulty in getting education for indigenous peoples makes them lag far behind. The issue of the problems of fulfilling the rights of indigenous peoples is quite important in the international scope, as evidenced by the ratification of the United Nations declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People (UNDRIP). The concepts in this study are the Concept of Human Rights and the Concept of International Regime, where this paper will look at the role of UNDRIP in efforts to fulfill the human rights of the SAD Community in Jambi.
